Sci Fi Channel to become Syfy -- trademark lawyers to blame?

This is just stupid, i love my Sci-Fi channel, don't why the want to change the name because they cant own the rights to Sci-Fi. When i think of Sci-Fi i think of the Sci-Fi channel. SyFy... really WTF!!
